I wanted to take the time to recognize Auto ER in Gainesville for the above-and-beyond service my family received, especially from General Manager Bobby Kelly.
In October 2024, my 82-year-old father was involved in an accident that damaged his 2019 Kia Rio. Around the same time, my mother became seriously ill and was being cared for at Shands UF. Because my father was committed to staying by her bedside, I was responsible for handling the insurance communication and repair process on his behalf.
After reviewing several repair options in Gainesville, I felt confident choosing Auto ER and I am grateful that I did. Bobby personally helped make a very difficult family situation as smooth as possible. Within a short time, my dad’s car was ready for pickup and looked like new.
Sadly, my mother did not return home and later transitioned. While my father remained faithfully by her bedside, his vehicle was hit again in the Shands parking lot. Once again, Auto ER was there for my family. I stopped in and explained what had happened, and without hesitation, Bobby said he wanted to help. Even without insurance assistance due to the hit-and-run damage, he showed compassion, integrity, and genuine concern.
During an emotional conversation, Bobby took the time to speak with me personally, share his own experience with loss, and offer a level of empathy that is rare to find today. That moment meant more than he probably realizes.
Mr. Bobby Kelly and the entire Auto ER staff thank you. I fight back tears as I write this, but it has been on my heart for some time to make sure I shared with the Gainesville community what kind of people and business you are. Your integrity, professionalism, and compassion will never be forgotten.

These guys did a proper job – my car came down with issues during a long drive and I had to pull in to help sort out a transmission problem. Had an alternator go out at a bad time. Was not able to get an appointment at my usual shop for a week so I called Sal’s. Not only did they have me come right over, they had everything ordered, delivered & installed within a few hours. Excellent service & a very fair price. Great job!

I’ve been dealing with a flat tire every morning for weeks! Even took it to another tire shop and they couldn’t find anything wrong. I finally came to this place because it was close by, and WOW, not only did they find the problem and fix it, but their customer service was on another level!

Seriously, this has been one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. They were helpful, friendly, and truly cared about getting me back on the road. I 100% recommend this shop! I’ll be coming here for oil changes from now on and bringing my family too!

I’m late in writing this review but I definitely want to share my wonderful experience with Auto ER in High Springs, FL. About a month ago I went to get in my car one morning & discovered a had a flat tire. A VERY flat tire. I was able to get air in it & went straight up to Auto ER. They took my car back right away, repaired my tire & it was ready to go in less than 30 minutes. When I went to pay for services rendered I was told there was no charge! NO CHARGE!!! I couldn’t believe it!! I will definitely be going back to Auto ER for any other tire services I may need. Everyone I dealt with was super nice & I highly recommend this local business.

I brought my car in for mechanic work and a paint job twice in the beginning of March 2026 to AutoER on Archer Rd. in Gainesville, FL.

They are amazing! Truly quality work with affordable prices compared to other shops and dealerships.
In fact, I was actually referred to them by another local mechanic shop because AutoER was more affordable, plus their mechanics and management were just as experienced along with being top notch!

They did not lie!! My first visit entailed mechanic work AND a paint job… AutoER got the job done in ONE DAY!!!!

Less than a week later I decided to bring it in for additional mechanical work… they had it done in LESS THAN AN HOUR!!!

Not to mention, both times I was able to make last minute appointments. And I’m talking about the NIGHT before!

They seriously blow my mind, in the best way!

Plus, every single person who works there is so nice and will go out of their way to help you.

I’ve NEVER had such a great experience anywhere else!
And I keep my car maintained regularly!

I had such an amazing experience with this auto shop! I called just yesterday, and they were able to get me in the very next day at a time that worked perfectly for my schedule—which was already a huge relief.
From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I had an important event to get to and was honestly stressed that my car wouldn’t be ready in time, but they completely came through. They made sure everything was taken care of quickly without sacrificing quality.
They fixed my brake light in less than an hour —super efficient and professional! On top of that, everyone there was genuinely kind and helpful, which made the whole experience even better.

My first experience with Auto ER did not disappoint! Dylan, the manager, was incredibly helpful and transparent about expected pricing with everything and was able to schedule me quickly. He and and the other staff were very welcoming when I arrived, and the waiting area was clean and well stocked with drinks and snacks for waiting customers. Service was quick and high quality. This is a very honest, trustworthy, and transparent company and they take great care of their customers. I even forgot my water bottle there and they held it for me to pick up the next day. They don’t know it yet, but they just earned a very loyal new customer–Auto ER is my official go-to now.

I had the most amazing experience here on a Saturday! I had a very large screw stuck in one of my tires and they were able to work me in and get it fixed in no time. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, top-notch service.

Melissa is wonderful and is always happy to explain to me what services my car needs attention with immediately, and which ones I can choose to complete at a later oil change to keep up with preventative maintenance. My first experience with Auto ER was amazing. My car was towed in, I later spoke with Mike and Brandon ( extremely knowledgeable and helpful and understanding) about my check engine light on. They recommend a diagnostic test to determine what’s wrong with my car. My car warranty declined repairs and guess what: Mike worked with me on the repairs. The repairs done was engine work: gasket, spark plugs etc. Long story short. When I arrived to pick up my car WOW!!! I liked the red carpet treatment, being an elderly with use of a cane every one was so courteous, and offered free snacks (chips, sodas and coffee). To all reading tell your friends and family come on down and check out Auto Er for your car needs. There Great!!! And you’ll be happy when do. I’m a beyond satisfied customer.

Excellent experience. I brought my car in at noon and they were able to get the needed part same day, make the repair, and I picked it up at 5:30. The price was lower than competitor quotes. Very happy and will definitely return for my auto maintenance/repair needs.

They were amazing! I called and got it in the same day. They gave me a detailed estimate including pictures, parts, labor, and an explanation. Very accommodating and professional. Nick was who I dealt with directly. He was honest and sympathetic of my situation. Found the best rates he could find and gave me an added discount to lighten the load. I want to thank Kevin and his team for taking care of me when I brought my car in. They gave me a fair deal on the work. They were very hospitable and I appreciated they had an area in the lobby where I can wait while my car was in service. I also appreciated them checking in with me afterwards to make sure everything was running smoothly with my vehicle. Definitely bringing my cars back to them if I had any questions or issues.

They were wonderful! They had an appointment for the next day (which is amazing considering the type of work they do), when I got there for my appointment they were on top of everything! Their price was very reasonable for their service! Everyone was so kind and professional! They had complimentary snacks and beverages.

Nick and the lovely people at auto ER were fast and diligent when it came to servicing my vehicle. After the dealership quoted me over $6000 in repairs I took it to auto ER where they PROPERLY diagnosed the problem and was able to fix it in a timely manner. They have a customer for a lifetime and I couldn’t recommend them more to anyone looking to service their vehicles.

I’ve been coming to this team since I moved to Gainesville in 2020, and I keep coming back because of their reliability and genuine commitment to customer service. They’re consistently honest, thorough, and easy to work with. During my most recent visit, I had to leave for an important interview, and the team coordinated my transportation to and from the shop so I wouldn’t have to stress. On top of that, Nick and Kevin stayed after hours until I was able to pick up my keys. That level of care and going above and beyond is rare. What a great find! Being new to the area it’s hard to find all of the services that you may need easily. Newberry Auto ER was recommended to me by a friend and it was a great recommendation. Absolutely Amazing. I am one of those people who believes I can do anything, so trusting someone else is hard. Auto ER has made it easy to trust, they are transparent, thorough, honest and understanding. The level of detail they provide to put you at ease about your vehicle is unmatched. Went in for an oil system flush and other minor concern, and after learning what was going on, and getting it fixed, I am beyond satisfied. Auto ER will be my full time shop for my 4 vehicles from now on.

Thanks for your concern and follow call today, 2/16, for my recent auto service.

The original cause for my visit, smoke from the under the hood bear spark plug, has not returned.

I’m happy that there are no residual oil/fluid leaks from th admission and engine oil changes.
KIA is running smoothly. No apparent latent defects from the replacement of the CV shaft.

The job appears to have been expertly done by the team!

On another Note:
I may need to make another appt with auto ER to assess repair of the passenger side mirror that was popped out. Also for the sunroof that opens and closes extremely slowly nearly to the point of stalling in the open position.

Finally, thanks to the Auto ER weekend crew (Ritchie, Shane and Tony) and the managers, who remained at work after normal hours to get the repair job done and done right for my 2013 KIA Optima!

It allowed me to have use my car for the remainder of the weekend, instead of waiting till next business day on Monday to receive it.

The three them answered answered my many questions, about the repairs made to my car, and ensured me the work was guaranteed under warranty.

Seven days after the work was completed, I was surprised to see a notice from Auto ER Team Newberry.

They had initiated a follow up call to find out how my car was “running smoothly” since the repair service.

I told them in so many words, probably too many words, that the original issue with smoke emanating from the engine compartment, had not returned and the car was running very well!

The people there apparently are very well trained and skilled technicians of there trades. They show pride in there working and demonstrating customer satisfaction, as I observed their interactions with customers while I waited with other customers at the front desk.
I strongly recommend to to all of Newberry and even to other residents of nearby towns.
